Walnut Grove goalkeeper Harper Gage earned an invitation to the U.S. Soccer Talent ID Center in Dallas, the school announced on X on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The invitation places Gage in front of U.S. Soccer's national scouting pipeline. TID Centers are free, single-day events where top U-14 and U-15 players train and play games under U.S. Soccer Regional Talent Identification Managers and Youth National Team scouts. The program is designed to build the player pool for the U-15 Girls' National Team by identifying high-potential talent at the U-14 level. TID Centers operate at 40 locations nationwide and have evaluated more than 2,000 female players since August 2025, according to U.S. Soccer.

The Dallas invite is the latest in a run of national recognition for Gage. During a May 26–31 camp at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Georgia, she was one of six goalkeepers called up to the U.S. U-14 Girls' National Talent Identification Camp. She represented D'Feeters Kicks SC at that event.

Gage also earned a separate selection to the U.S. U-15 Girls' National Team September Camp, Walnut Grove announced on its Facebook page. That camp is a distinct honor from the TID Center invitation, placing her in the national-team environment rather than the identification stage.

At the club level, Gage now plays for Solar SC in the ECNL League after moving from D'Feeters Kicks SC. Prep Soccer's September 2026 Texas rankings list her as the top-ranked goalkeeper in the state's 2030 class and third overall among all positions. The scouting service described her as a vocal backline leader with strong positioning who is difficult to score against in high-pressure moments. Gage started as a field player before moving to goalkeeper, and Prep Soccer noted her quality on the ball and patience in possession.

Walnut Grove is a Prosper ISD school serving grades 9–12 with 2,268 students. No specific date for the Dallas TID Center session has been announced.
