Prosper High School's competitive shooting team won the 2026 Texas Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) State Championship in June.

The squad claimed the overall state title and the Sporting Clays division crown at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio during the June 10–14 tournament. Prosper also finished second in the High Over All (HOA) High School category, according to Eagle Nation Online, the Prosper High student news site.

The team then traveled to Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio, for the SCTP National Championships, held July 11–18. Prosper placed fourth in the High Overall Team standings and fifth in the HOA Trap Team category against programs from across the country.
