Downtown Prosper's Broadway Street turns into a walking cocktail trail on Saturday, Aug. 29, when the Town of Prosper hosts the "Last Sip of Summer" edition of its Prosper on Tap series. The event is free, open to the public, and requires no registration.

The sip-and-stroll format sends guests through participating shops and stops along Broadway with a tasting glass and event map in hand. Cocktails, wine, and seasonal drinks are available at each location, according to the town's event listing. There is no central stage or single entrance. Attendees set their own pace.

Prosper on Tap is produced by the town's Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with SBG Hospitality, a North Texas event production company.

The series runs quarterly on Broadway and has become what local real estate writer Mike Farish called "the closest thing Prosper has to a signature adult recurring event." The corridor is home to independent spots including The Gin, 1902 restaurant (opened spring 2026 at 209 W. Broadway with Chef Amy DiBiase running a French-trained kitchen), Mary Ann's Speakeasy upstairs, Trick Rider, and Honeylu's.

Parking is available in the downtown lots within walking distance of the event footprint.

The town has not confirmed a start time for this specific edition. Previous Prosper on Tap events have begun at noon, and one listing shows 11 a.m. Residents can call the Parks and Recreation Department at (972) 569-1160 for details.
