Dutch Bros Coffee is planning a second Prosper location near the Celina border, according to a state permit that puts the drive-thru chain at 1500 W. Frontier Pkwy.

The project, first reported by Community Impact on Sept. 21, would join an existing Dutch Bros at 520 S. Preston Road. A permit filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) lists the estimated cost at $600,000.

The permit describes the work as an interior remodel of a 986-square-foot space, classified as a renovation rather than new construction. That suggests Dutch Bros would move into an existing building shell at the West Frontier Parkway site, though the nature of the current structure is not confirmed in public records. The project is listed as privately funded on private land for private use, meaning no public dollars are involved.

DW Frontier Bros, LLC, a Dallas-based entity at 4403 N. Central Expressway, is listed as the project owner. Corey Duhon is named as the owner contact. Andrea Petty filed the TDLR application, and Franz Architects of Benbrook designed the project.

The permit's project name reads "Dutch Bros Coffee - Celina, TX," but the listed address falls within Prosper's 75078 ZIP code in Collin County. The site sits near the municipal boundary between the two towns.

No statement from Dutch Bros or DW Frontier Bros, LLC, was available as of publication. No city zoning hearing or council vote tied to the project has been identified in public records.

The TDLR permit was registered Aug. 4 and carries a status of "Review Complete," meaning the state has finished reviewing the filing. Construction is projected to start Oct. 25, with a completion target of April 30, 2027. Those are permit projections, not a confirmed opening timeline. Dutch Bros' website currently lists only the Preston Road store in Prosper.
