Chicken Salad Chick is planning a Celina restaurant at 220 W. Frontier Parkway, Suite 100, with a $400,000 interior renovation outlined in a state filing.

The project was registered Oct. 9 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Work on the 1,500-square-foot space is scheduled to begin Jan. 5, 2027, and finish March 21, according to the project record.

The construction schedule does not establish when the restaurant will open. No opening date has been confirmed, WhatNow Dallas reported.

Plans call for work inside the building, with no exterior alterations or change of use proposed. The renovation will be paid for with private funds provided by the tenant.

The filing names Michael Connors as the tenant but does not specify the local franchise operator. It lists Centra Frontier Realty LLC of Irving as the property owner and Tulsa-based 1Architecture LLC as the design firm.

The record remains listed as “Project Registered” in the state’s architectural barriers system. That registration is separate from a building permit.

Founded in Auburn, Alabama, in 2008, Chicken Salad Chick offers chicken salad in a variety of flavors, along with sandwiches, soups, sides and desserts. The company says it operates more than 350 restaurants across 27 states. Company background
