A new fitness gym built around women and busy parents is set to open at 3520 N. Louisiana Drive in Celina on Monday, Aug. 31, adding free on-site childcare to its appeal for the city's growing population of young families.

Burn Boot Camp confirmed through its location owner that the Celina gym will hold a soft opening that day, with a grand opening celebration Saturday, Sept. 12, Community Impact reported.

The franchise, which has more than 400 locations in 38 states, centers on 45-minute group workouts conducted on shock-absorbing floors. Classes rotate between strength and conditioning formats so no two sessions repeat. The gym also offers one-on-one personal training and what the company calls "Focus Meetings," personalized sit-downs with a trainer covering nutrition, injury modifications and goal-setting.

For parents juggling schedules, the standout perk may be the staffed play area called Childwatch. The company describes it as a supervised, engaging space where children can play while parents work out. The service is free for members.

Ahead of the brick-and-mortar opening, Burn Boot Camp has been running pop-up classes around Celina. Residents interested in trying a pop-up session or signing up for membership can register through the gym's website.

The Celina location joins a wave of new businesses arriving in the city this summer, including Costco, The Home Depot and Academy Sports + Outdoors. Husband-and-wife founders Devan and Morgan Kline started Burn Boot Camp in a parking lot in Huntersville, North Carolina, in 2012 before franchising the concept in 2015.

The gym's phone number is (469) 296-8017.
